Leigh-Chantelle is an in-demand speaker, and has given this talk in a variety of places before, here's her blurb for this talk: So many people are mean online, don’t listen, don’t read, and don’t communicate well. How do we as vegans and activists remember to rise above the negativity, and focus on our aims and core values? 20-year vegan veteran Leigh-Chantelle shares her expertise on how to effectively use our time and energy to promote the positive aspects of veganism, and inspire others to lead by example online. Leigh-Chantelle was the President of the Vegetarian Vegan Society of Queensland (in her home state) for a year, resigning in November 2017. She was a consultant for Vegucation Vegan Night Markets, and helped with the planning, organisation, as well as running the speakers area - featuring an all-female speakers lineup!

Vegucation Vegan Night Markets took place on Saturday 28 October 2017 at Albion Peace Centre, Windsor, Brisbane, Australia. Vegucation was proudly presented by the Vegetarian Vegan Society of Queensland (VVSQ).


VVSQ is a non-profit organisation, established in 1990 (incorporated in 1994) that aims to support and connect people who want to lead a more compassionate way of life.
