Leigh-Chantelle was the President of the Vegetarian Vegan Society of Queensland (in her home state) for a year, resigning in November 2017. She was a consultant for Vegucation Vegan Night Markets, and helped with the planning, organisation, as well as running the speakers area - featuring an all-female speakers lineup!
