I recommend you it with avocado slices and parma on top. I don't have the recipe actually typed into this post because it's a guest post on Skinny Limits, so you can

Oh I love mah LIFE. These are super delicious and super nutritious. Bam bam! Jam-packed with raw veggies and wrapped in seaweed, they deliver one heck of a meal that is sure to impress your taste buds and perhaps dinner guests? You could actually eat this recipe all by yourself because it's so low in calories (naturally) but I dare you to try...

Howdy, peoples. Today's post is something special (not that all my posts are sub-special but... anyway), it's special because it's actually an interview with a too-cool-for-school vegan celebrity instead of me ranting about food and cats. Brian Patton (AKA The Sexy Vegan) has just released his newest cookbook - The Sexy Vegan's Happy hour at Home -

Heyo. I wrote a post a few days ago and titled it "a day in the life" but then went on to write basically nothing about a day in my life these days. So on this day, I will try harder to stick with the topic. Here is an average day in my life, while I am in cookbook-writing mode.
I sleep in (I've always been a night owl) and

This week I was lucky enough to review Vigilant Eats super food cereal and was very impressed with the product. Delicious, cool-looking, gluten-free, organic, simple, easy - me likey. What you get is in the name: a disposable cup (neato folding spoon included) filled with a blend of stuff making up a super food, oat-based cereal! It's got happy,

Here's another guest post! I hope you are enjoying them, as lately I have been too busy to make recipes for you guys. Sad face. Anyways I'd like to say this the video linked in this post has some potentially controversial opinions about cancer that aren't necessarily the same opinions I hold. Nevertheless, they are interesting and I'd love to hear your

Greetings, my lovelies. First off, you better be drooling right now. Yes, I am cruel because I cannot give you the recipe for the food pornography you see here. But in a way I am still kind for showing these GIFs... right!? Okay, I am sorry if you hate me now. But I still love you! And I miss you. Every time I make a new recipe for the upcoming

Ahhh, Friday. After sleeping in, working out, tutoring a student and making two recipes for my upcoming raw vegan desserts cookcook - creamsicles and coconut pineapple bites - it was time for green juice. And what better place to enjoy the sweet nectar from Mother Nature than in my own glorious backyard? Bees were buzzing, birds were chirping

Switching from a diet that's heavy on meat to a diet that contains no meat at all – the vegan diet – can feel like a nearly impossible task for some people. While it might seem like a huge change in lifestyle, adapting to a vegan diet could be easier than you think if you do it the right way.
Many people that switch from eating meat

Cancer is a notoriously difficult disease to treat, but this is thankfully becoming easier. Better and more targeted treatments, outcomes, and aftercare is making cancer treatment a less arduous process. There are, however, still difficulties that remain.
Some of the treatments for certain forms of cancer are still very debilitating.

Every part of this is epic. Chocolate cookie crust. Creamy vanilla cashew cheesecake. Strawberries topping it all off. I was going to put this recipe in my COOKBOOK (it is still extremely exciting for me to type that word) but I reached over 15,000 likes on facebook yesterday and thought "Hey, these guys deserve something special for

I love the colour of this juice; it's so bright and bursting with life! The majority of my diet has been mostly juice and smoothies lately, along with the raw desserts I'm making everyday for my COOKBOOK (it's way too exciting to type that). I think in warmer seasons I naturally crave lighter, cooler food. I haven't really been wanting cooked

It's not like there's some special secret to making an amazing glass of juice. All you're doing is helping the mind-blowingly delicious flavours of fresh fruits and veggies shine through, and letting your taste buds do the rest. Simple. Yet every time I make juice (about once every one or two days) I cannot believe how incredible it tastes.

I love raw soups. They are basically savoury smoothies that you top up with herbs and veggies and eat with a spoon. Okay, maybe that isn't the most appealing way to describe them, but my point is: they are full of only the healthiest whole foods your body wants, and served in a way that is easy for your system to absorb. You get excellent

I do enjoy me some Mexican food - I could eat endless bowls of guacamole and probably still be asking for more. You really cannot go wrong with loads of fresh tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, avocado, mango, lime, onions and garlic. The mango adds a sweet factor that brings the salsa to a new level... OF AWESOME.

Whether you're a raw foodist, carnivore, vegetarian, vegan, Oz dieter, paleo dieter, or follow any other specific diet plan, there are some foods that it just seems criminal to cook.
These foods, when found in their natural, raw state, are packed full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and live enzymes that too much cooking can destroy.
