Cooked bananas for sure induce vomiting. . . in me anyway. Unless they are fried, I don’t want it. Good thing we are just making a raw salad inspired by this banana, ice cream caramel drizzle, very strange flambé dessert. In fact, I believe the only reason anyone ever ordered it was because they were bored at dinner and wanted to see the fire.

Bananas Foster Salad Recipe
Bed of Spinach
3 strawberries, hulled, diced
1 banana, peeled, sliced
3 pitted dates
1/4 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons pecans
Pinch of kosher salt
Place the bed of spinach on top of the salad plate.
Scatter the diced strawberries throughout the spinach leaves.
Top the strawberries with the banana slices. Place them at random angles just for aesthetics.
Add the pitted dates, almond milk, and vanilla extract in the food processor and blend until smooth.
Drizzle the date caramel sauce evenly over the bananas.
Sprinkle on the pecans followed by the kosher salt.
Salad #5 is done. Eat up.
