Welcome to Simple Vegan Blog! We're Iosune and Alberto, a Spanish vegan couple, living a healthy lifestyle and trying to have a simple life. After years reading other food blogs we decided to star our own blog Danza de Fogones in April 2013. Ten months later, we started writing this blog in English. English is not our native language so please excuse our spelling. We try! All recipes are vegan and most of them are easy, simple and require 30 minutes or less to prepare.

  • Vegan Patatas Alioli (Aioli Potatoes)
    Aioli is so popular here in Spain and also one of the most delicious sauces I’ve ever tried. My two favorite Spanish dishes with aioli were patatas alioli (aioli potatoes) and arroz negro con alioli (black rice with aioli).   • Vegan Aioli (Oil-Free)
    Aioli was my favorite sauce when I wasn’t vegan and also after I went vegan because I learnt how to make an egg-free version using soy milk instead, but as it’s so high in fat, I didn’t make it very often until I discovered this wonderful vegan aioli recipe.   • Marinated Tempeh Wraps
    I’ve realized we only have three tempeh recipes on the blog: tempeh bacon, vegan Cobb salad and vegan tempeh meatballs. Just in case you don’t know, tempeh is made of fermented beans and is a great meat substitute.   • Vegan Malaga Salad (Ensalada Malagueña)
    I eat salads all year long, but I make them more often in the spring and summer because it’s so hot here in Spain.
