After feeling an incredible depth of compassion for all sentient life, I switched to a vegan diet over-night and have never looked back. My recipes have been developed over many years of catering as a retreat chef. Having only ever served plant-based, wheat-free, conscious cuisine free without refined sugar I've been guided to create a plethora of new, original, vibrational raising recipes from scratch. My food has inspired many people to adopt a much more conscious way of eating food, which is a really humbling experience.

I created this site to share my love for whole foods with you. Here you can find my favourite recipes as well as daily inspiration for your kitchen time. My recipes are quick, easy and plant-based, requiring just a few ingredients. I am Evi, a Hungarian photographer and cooking enthusiastic currently living in Hamburg, Germany. I love to spend time in my tiny kitchen, creating delicious meals for friends and family. In my free time I love to travel, dance, visit farmer's markets, pet dogs, watch cat videos and go to wonderful exhibitions. I think I couldn't live without green juices, avocado toasts and my red lipstick.

  • Fortified Soy Milk is Healthy Alternative to Cow’s Milk for Toddlers
A joint news release from Dietitians of Canada and the Canadian Paediatric Society urges parents to be careful in their selection of milks for young children. Specifically, they are concerned about the low protein and mineral content of unfortified plant milks. I agree with most of what they say. Unfortified plant milks should not be [...] (...more)

The growth of the plant milk market is nothing short of amazing. Given the variety of options, it’s easier than ever to switch out cow’s milk for a more compassionate alternative. In May 2012, my husband and I became vegan in hopes of a healthier lifestyle. Soon after that, we cut out all processed foods. We have seen dramatic changes in our health. Both of us are down to a healthy weight without counting calories or starving. People around us began to see the changes and started to ask questions about our diet or where we found recipes. Before starting this journey, I was not a cook. In fact, I was convinced I would fail at it. Once I started trying, I realized it was easy and it began to save us money. I have two toddlers at home and if I can find the time, anyone can. Once you start eating real food, you will begin to see how much more you can taste/enjoy food that is not bogged down with salt, sugar and other scary additives. The better I feel, the more I want to share it with anyone who will listen!
